Abstract

Homeopathy has been utilized for various public health issues, yet its role and effectiveness remain contentious. the evidence for homeopathy's impact on public health by examining randomized controlled trials (RCTs), observational studies, and other relevant research. We included studies addressing a range of conditions, such as infectious diseases, chronic conditions, and mental health issues, that have significant public health implications. Our review identified several instances where homeopathic interventions showed positive outcomes, particularly in the management of upper respiratory tract infections and certain chronic diseases. However, the overall quality of the evidence was mixed, with many studies suffering from methodological limitations such as small sample sizes, lack of blinding, and potential biases. Despite these limitations, the positive findings in some areas suggest that homeopathy may offer potential benefits as a complementary approach in public health, particularly where conventional treatments are limited or unavailable. Further high-quality research is needed to substantiate these findings and to better understand the mechanisms, efficacy, and safety of homeopathy in the context of public health.
